Olivia Attwood has told pals that Love Island rival Maura Higgins has been copying her every move with her career, fashion and friends and has jokingly labelled her a ‘stalker’
As they both attempt to make it in the world of television, it’s hardly surprising that a bit of competition would be brewing between Olivia Attwood and Maura Higgins. But now, it looks as though their seemingly harmless rivalry has taken on a new dimension as Olivia, 34, has reportedly told friends that Maura is trying to copy her every move.
According to insiders, Olivia has even said she feels as though she is becoming her ‘stalker’. It was previously claimed that the This Morning guest host was left fuming after Maura was seen posing alongside Parisian fashion influencer Michael Coste on Instagram. Olivia had posted a picture with him, just days before. Both ladies have also been trying to make waves in America after signing with the same agency Align PR.
But it looks as though Maura has already started to make a name for herself as she has already landed a spot on the US version of The Traitors. It comes amid Olivia’s split from her husband of three years, Bradley Dack.

A source told The Sun: “Olivia is obviously going through a lot at the moment and trying to piece her life back together, but she has been left bemused that Maura has continued to mirror her playbook. She even jokes with her friends that Maura is her stalker.”
They added: “There is no love lost between them and they have become very skilled at ignoring each other on the red carpet and at parties. Olivia is just amazed that these things keep happening, although she knows that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
Olivia took part in Love Island in 2017 and Maura appeared on the show two years later. Both stars had originally been signed to PR agency Dundas Communications, who boast of clients including Dermot O’Leary, Billie Piper and TV presenter Emma Willis.
But Olivia reportedly noticed that they were being put forward for similar jobs which made her decide to change agencies. Olivia then took the opportunity to move to Align PR and but soon after so had Maura. But it has previously been said amongst those in Maura’s circle, that it was not a case of copying Olivia.
When it comes to the red carpet, Olivia and Maura faced an awkward encounter in November as they both wore black dresses at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards, in New York. Aside from fashion, Olivia’s close friendship with former TOWIE star Pete Wicks became a bone of contention as Maura had been dating him for a few months in 2024.
After six months, the pair decided to part ways as Maura believed that he had been unfaithful. Pete and Olivia started to co-host their own Kiss FM radio show and Maura was not happy as she believed that he should be more loyal to her.
A source said: “She asked him if he really had to do the radio show with Olivia, as she felt his loyalties should lie with her. The whole situation left her feeling uneasy.”
After Maura made it known that she thought Pete had cheated on her, Olivia immediately jumped to his defence saying that she is very “protective of her friends” and went on to add that he is “very loyal. If he’s in your corner you’ll know he’ll be there for you.”
