Little Mix star Perrie Edwards and new Celtic Football Club signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will soon be living in Glasgow together following the arrival of their second child last month
Little Mix icon Perrie Edwards will be moving to Glasgow – her fiancé, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, has declared. Footballer Alex, 32, has been in a relationship with You Go Your Way singer Perrie since November 2016 and they recently welcomed their second child together.
The couple, who have been engaged since 2022, welcomed a son named Axel in August 2021 and last month welcomed a daughter named Alanis. Now it has been revealed the family are set to move north to Glasgow, in Scotland, after Alex landed a contract with the Celtic football club.
The midfielder signed a contract with the team this month and is expected to take to the pitch in the green and white striped kit for the next six months. He has previously played for Southampton, Arsenal and Liverpool.

In his first interview since signing to Celtic, Alex shared his family move plans. The Daily Mail quotes him stating: “Yeah [Perrie] will be up here for sure. We’ve just had a second baby so, she’s only four weeks old, so I think a few more weeks and they will probably head up here for sure.
“My son will definitely want to come up and he loves football now so it’s good for him to come up. She [Perrie] has been up here a few times, just complains about the weather and that’s it, but they will definitely be up here at some point”
And discussing his evolving career, he added: “It’s exactly what I need. I need another challenge and lucky enough at a massive club like this. And they can help me get back to where I need to get to and, more importantly, I need to help the team achieve the goals we want to do.”
Meanwhile, Perrie has been sharing her support for her husband-to-be by highlighting the fact he has a new gig north of the border. Taking to Instagram Stories, she shared a post from the official Celtic FC account which captured Alex in the Celtic kit on the infamous pitch at Parkhead.
The snap was a welcome post from the official football team account which highlighted Alex as a new signing. Perrie reposted the image on her feed and added a flame emoji as she threw her support behind his signing to the Scottish team.
While Alex will be kept busy on the pitch this year, Perrie too has some busy months ahead. The chart-topping star is set to perform at a string of festivals over the coming months – with gigs at Big Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Mighty Hoopla and more.
Last year, while still pregnant with her daughter, Perrie explained how she balanced motherhood and work during a candid chat with apple Music. She said: “Just because you’re a mum doesn’t mean you’re not you anymore. It doesn’t define you as a person.”
She explained further: “I had so many doubts and thought that people weren’t going to take me seriously anymore because I was pregnant, but I hope I’ve proven that women can actually do it all. I’m heavily pregnant, I’ve got a toddler, and I’m promoting an album. I’ve been nonstop, but I’ve made it work.”
She also candidly discussed the support she relies on to help her through her life. She said: “It takes a village. So, it’s not just me. It takes a lot of family members and a lot of my team to make it happen. But I think it’s about balance. I don’t want to not be the best mum possible, but I also don’t want to not be the best artist I can be.”
And sharing her top tip on how to remain calm in the face of life’s demands, she said: “I make sure I’m well rested, getting enough sleep and taking enough time away from screens. I always try and look at the sky in the morning before I look at a screen.”
