Sudha Chandran Recalls Facing Issues During The Early Years Of Her Marriage, ‘Would Get Divorced…’

For the unversed, in the Mata Ki Chowki video clip, Sudha appeared in a trance-like state. Well, now the actress opened up about facing difficulties and doubts in her marriage.

Recently, the much-loved actress, Sudha Chandran sat down for a conversation with Hindi Rush, during which she opened up about the early days of her marriage. She revealed that soon after getting married, she had signed the TV show, Kaahin Kissii Roz, which instantly raised questions. People thought that the show would be the reason behind Sudha’s divorce with her husband. Sudha Chandran was quoted as saying:

“I got married around the same time I signed the show, and people were convinced that I would get divorced because they said I would never get time to go home.”

Sudha Chandran’s husband supported her during the tough time

During the same interview, Sudha further revealed that amid the criticism she received at that time for signing a show right after her marriage, it was her dear husband, who stood by her and proved everyone wrong. The actress stated that she was able to work day and night on the show, because of her husband’s never-ending support. In her words:

“I got a lot of support from my husband, who told me to hold on to this opportunity. It was fun, because you were earning fame and money.”

Sudha Chandran reveals her fees per TV show

When Sudha Chandran was asked about the experience of working with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, the actress shared that the entire crew was pampered on sets. She explained that actors were given vanity vans and had no pressure of anything. Further, she gave an insight about her fees per TV show and revealed that when she was working as ‘Ramola Sikand’, she used to get Rs. 3000 per day, but today, she charges 100 times more than that.

A few weeks ago, Sudha Chandran dominated the headlines after a video from a Mata Ki Chowki, featuring her went viral on social media. In the video, the actress wore a white and red-hued saree and had a headband, which said ‘Jai Mata Di’. In the video, Sudha seemed deeply spiritually absorbed as she was moving energetically and appeared to lose control over her movements. Reportedly, the two have been married for over three decades. It is worth mentioning that the two dated for six years before they eloped and got married. Sudha and her husband, Ravi do not have any children.
