UK police confirmed Monday that they are “assessing” damning allegations that then-Prince Andrew shared confidential trade files with his pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.

The disgraced royal, who served as the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment between 2001 and 2011, allegedly sent Epstein reports about trips to Vietnam and Singapore in 2010, according to documents in the millions of files released about Epstein.

Trade envoys must keep details about trips confidential — even when they are no longer in the role under the Official Secrets Act.

Thames Valley Police, which serves the area including the ex-royal’s former home in Windsor, confirmed it was looking at  Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after an anti-monarchy campaigner reported him for suspected misconduct in public office and breaches of Britain’s Official Secrets Act.

“We can confirm receipt of this report and are assessing the information in line with our established procedures,” a police spokesperson said.

Graham Smith had earlier confirmed that he reported Andrew to cops, comparing the allegations against the disgraced former prince to those of Peter Mandelson, the former UK ambassador to the US accused of leaking government documents to Epstein in a scandal threatening to bring down the government.

“I cannot see any significant difference between these allegations and those against Peter Mandelson, Smith said of Andrew.

Vince Cable, who served as Board of Trade president between 2010 and 2015, said Andrew “ruthlessly exploited” the role of trade envoy, as reported by the Times of London.

In October 2010, Andrew allegedly sent details about trips to Singapore, Vietnam, China and Hong Kong to Epstein. He was joined by business associates linked to Epstein on the trips.

Then, the following month, an email account belonging to someone named the Duke forwarded on an email from Amit Patel, Andrew’s special assistant at the time, to Epstein.

The emails were forwarded to Epstein just five minutes after Andrew supposedly received them.

An email from November 2010 appeared to show Andrew lobbying for Epstein while in the United Arab Emirates. The then-duke had met the sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“Hey! You are in big time,” he apparently wrote to Epstein.

“He thinks you are great and would like to introduce you to Sheikh Mohammed, [sic], the crown prince. Doesn’t think it can be done before the end of the year though.” The email was signed off with the letter A.

On Christmas Eve, Andrew allegedly emailed a confidential briefing on investment opportunities regarding Afghanistan’s Helmand Province.

In February 2011, Andrew allegedly emailed Epstein about a private equity firm he had visited.

Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles last year, has always denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein and has not commented on the latest allegation.

Cops previously confirmed to The Post they are reviewing claims made by a woman who suggested Epstein sent her to the UK to have sex with Andrew at his now-former home, Royal Lodge.

The bombshell Epstein dump, which saw more than three million pages released, also included claims made by an exotic dancer who alleged she performed sex acts on the pedo and Andrew after they begged her for a threesome. Andrew has not spoken out about the alleged tryst.

Creepy photos showing Andrew crouching over an unidentified woman have also been released.

British cops investigated claims Andrew had sex with his longtime accuser, Virginia Giuffre, in London — allegations that Andrew has always denied.

In 2022, Andrew shelled out millions of pounds to Giuffre — despite claiming he had never met her.

Prince Edward, Andrew’s older brother, addressed the Epstein scandal last week, saying it’s “really important” to remember the victims.

William, the Duke of Cambridge, and his wife said they are “deeply concerned” by the scandal.

King Charles was heckled about Andrew’s links to Epstein while in Essex, England.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called on Andrew to testify in front of Congress about his links to Epstein if asked.

Epstein was awaiting trial for federal sex trafficking charges when he was found dead in his jail cell in August 2019.
