JJ Slater appears to have taken a swipe at his ex, Katie Price, while she hits the headlines on her honeymoon. The Pricey, 47, left her fans and family reeling when she announced she’d got hitched in Dubai last month to businessman Lee Andrews, whom she’d only known for a week.
Married At First Sight star, JJ, 33, was said to have been left “heartbroken” by the news, which sent shockwaves through the showbiz world. However, now he’s also decided to soak up some sun and appears to be moving on with his life.
Posting a selection of holiday snaps on Instagram, JJ included one of a book he’s reading called ‘The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F**k’.

The best-selling book by Mark Manson, which flew off the shelves when it was released in 2016, encourages readers to focus only on what they can control and care only about what is truly important.
JJ has been busy on social media while Katie enjoys the high life with Lee and best pal, Kerry Katona, in the UAE. This week, the reality star also posted a message about ‘recovering’ in what many assume is another nod to his split from The Pricey.
On Instagram, the E4 star shared a snap of himself relaxing in a hot tub in Miami, Florida. JJ, sporting bright orange shorts, added a simple caption to the post that stated: “Recovery”.
Fans are now questioning if this could be some kind of cryptic message regarding his romantic life, as he has been mending his broken heart since Katie savagely dumped him.
Last month, the MAFS star opened up about the abrupt end of his relationship.
JJ told The Sun: “We’re just sitting on the sofa watching TV. Everything seemed good, to be honest, and then it was probably three or four days into the new year that the conversation kind of just happened where all of a sudden Kate said that she doesn’t love me or is not in love with me anymore.”
He added: “Obviously, when someone says that to you, you have no choice but to pack up and leave, and that’s exactly what I did.”
The brutal end to the relationship was an extra blow to the reality star, as he had already imagined a happy future with Katie. He revealed: “In my head, I’m 33. I wouldn’t be in a relationship at this age with someone if I didn’t see the end goal being married and kids.”
Meanwhile, Katie says it’s ‘better to end things if you don’t see a future before things get nasty’. However, her family are said to be deeply concerned that she’s heading for trouble with Lee despite his insisting that their marriage is genuine.
