TAMPA — Shoutout to our old friend Isiah Kiner-Falefa, better known around here — usually affectionately — as IKF. This Yankees camp is only one day old, but already it looked in need of a storyline.
There’s no dissension in this camp by design. Around here, they go to all cost to avoid controversy.
Aaron Boone told us he was “surprised” by what IKF said about the Yankees being Toronto’s preferred opponent last October. Of course, IKF is famously candid. Plus, he’s an ex-Yankee. So he’s no longer bound to bore us.
Over here, everything’s swell. Everyone’s progressing nicely, and no one’s late (and if they were, you’d have to find out for yourself).
