Seven-time GRAMMY award winner John Mayer performed his hit songs while making his India debut on February 11, 2026. The event marked a significant milestone for music enthusiasts across the country and was met with an overwhelming response.
The evening opened with Abdon Mech, the Nagaland-born artiste known for his folk-inspired sound and evocative songwriting. He has also been making waves in India and internationally. He set the mood with performances of Aria, Give Me My Soul Back and Taking My Heart.
He was followed by indie singer-songwriter Tejas, who held the crowd spellbound with renditions of Kiss From A Rose, I’m Not Missing You At All and Ruby. Mayer arrived and sang his hits Slow Dancing in a Burning Room and Gravity, alongside Your Body Is a Wonderland, Love on the Weekend and New Light.
Addressing his fans in India, Mayer said, “Mumbai, it’s good to see you! Thank you for waiting a couple of weeks longer and thank you for making it, I love you.”
