The project carries additional significance as it marks the debut production under Singh’s banner, Maa Kasam Films. Pre-production work is said to be progressing at full pace, with preparations underway for elaborate action set-pieces and emotionally driven storytelling. Reports suggest that Singh is closely involved across stages of development, including script work and visual effects planning, and has opted for a backend profit-sharing arrangement, underscoring his investment in the film’s creative and financial outcomes.
Set to go on floors in May, Pralay reportedly chronicles the survival journey of a married couple navigating a dystopian Mumbai ravaged by chaos. The film is also expected to introduce Malayalam actor Kalyani Priyadarshan to Hindi cinema audiences.
