Gordon Ramsey, a close family friend of the Beckhams, has revealed what really happened at Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, which the eldest Beckham boy has accused his mother of ‘hijacking’

Gordon Ramsay has revealed what really happened at Brooklyn Beckham‘s wedding – including the truth behind Lady Victoria’s allegedly ‘inappropriate’ dancing.

The celebrity chef is a close friend of the Beckham family and, as such, went to Brooklyn’s 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz. Earlier this year, Brooklyn shocked the world by posting a scathing statement against his family on Instagram. Among his accusations against them, he claimed that his mother “hijacked” his first dance with his wife to “dance very inappropriately on me”.

Many have wondered what this meant and speculated about how ‘inappropriate’ Victoria’s dancing was. But Gordon has now set the record straight, explaining what really happened.

”We were there at the wedding,” he told The Sun. “There was nothing salacious. There was nothing inappropriate. Everyone was having fun, having a dance.”

The chef was asked if Victoria ‘grinded’ on her son, as many memes have joked. “No! Nothing of the sort. It was fun,” he responded. Gordon also said he had not seen the memes about Victoria but that the former Spice Girl has a “great sense of humour”. He added that she would be “right to be upset” about the wedding but “can bat that other s*** away in a heartbeat”.

Gordon’s wife, Tana, has reportedly been a source of support for Victoria recently. Like the Beckhams, the Ramsays are embroiled in a family feud, as their daughter, Holly, and her husband, Adam Peaty, uninvited the Peaty family from their December wedding.

At the wedding, Gordon’s speech is thought to have included a line about Tana being a “good mum” to both the bride and groom. This line has been taken by some to be a dig at Adam’s mother, Caroline, who was among the first to be uninvited from the wedding.

According to the Michelin-starred chef, he is still in contact with Brooklyn. He said that he and the aspiring photographer-turned-aspiring chef have “messaged a little bit” and that their “relationship is solid”. Gordon said he loved Brooklyn and that his “heart is incredible” but warned that it’s hard “when you’re infatuated”.

Gordon said that it is easy to “get carried away” but predicted that Brooklyn “will come back” at some point, despite the 26-year-old’s insistence that he has no desire to reconcile with his family. Not only did Gordon say that David and Victoria Beckham were “incredible” parents, but he added that it was just “a matter of time” before Brooklyn “understands what his parents mean to him”.

Gordon’s assertion that Victoria’s dance moves were not inappropriate has been supported by wedding DJ Fat Tony. The DJ said that it was not the dancing that was inappropriate, but the timing.

Speaking on This Morning, he said: “There was no slut dropping, there was no PVC catsuit, there was no Spice Girls actions. The word inappropriate – why I said it was inappropriate as well, because it was the timing.”

“What happened was – basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto the stage. Everyone is expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance and then Marc asks the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage.

“Then he said: ‘Victoria, come to the stage.’ At that point, Brooklyn is devastated because he thought he was going to do his first dance with his wife.”
