Gordon Ramsay has said that David Beckham will be the one to end the feud with his son Brooklyn Beckham, after the 26-year-old posted a bombshell statement to Instagram in January
Sir David Beckham will be the one to put an end to the feud between his family and his son, Brooklyn, according to Gordon Ramsay. As a friend of both the Beckham family and Brooklyn, Gordon has a unique insight into their relationship and insisted “incredible” father David will bring his son back into the fold.
Things have been rocky between Brooklyn and the rest of his family, particularly his parents, David and Victoria, for years, but the feud was blown open in January this year. That month, Brooklyn posted a six-page statement to Instagram in which he accused his parents of being “controlling” and using him to build their brand. He added that he had no desire for reconciliation.
Gordon said David will get Brooklyn “back on track”. “Time’s going to be the best healer, and David will absolutely get that relationship back on track,” he said.

The chef added to The Sun that he knew Brooklyn’s “heart is incredible” and that it’s easy “to get carried away” when you are “infatuated” with someone, but that the eldest Beckham child would one day realise how much he missed his parents.
He continued to say that it was just “a matter of time” before Brooklyn “understands just what his parents mean to him” and stated that he had seen up close “just how good parents” David and Victoria are. Gordon explained that both parents have gotten their son “out of the s***” many times.
Gordon added that he respected that Brooklyn was trying to “forge his own way” but that the aspiring chef should “remember where you came from”. He also said that Brooklyn needed to understand that his parents will not always be around, and they have “done more for you than anyone did in your entire life”.
Though Brooklyn has blocked his entire family on social media, he and Gordon still follow each other, and reportedly are still in contact. Gordon and his wife, Tana, have been friends with the Beckhams for years.
He added that Victoria was “right to be upset” about Brooklyn’s statement, particularly passages that accused her of dancing “inappropriately” at the wedding. Gordon insisted that Victoria’s dancing was not inappropriate and instead was just “fun”.
Gordon’s wife, Tana, has reportedly been a source of support for Victoria recently. Like the Beckhams, the Ramsays are embroiled in a family feud, as their daughter, Holly, and her husband, Adam Peaty, uninvited the Peaty family from their December wedding.
At the wedding, Gordon’s speech is thought to have included a line about Tana being a “good mum” to both the bride and groom. This line has been taken by some to be a dig at Adam’s mother, Caroline, who was among the first to be uninvited from the wedding.
