Gaurav Khanna Finally Opens Up On Divorce Buzz With Akanksha Chamola, ‘We Are Happily Together…’

Gaurav Khanna is one of the most loved actors of Indian television. He was last seen on Salman Khan’s reality show, Bigg Boss 19. For the unversed, he emerged as the winner of the show. A few days ago, his wife, Akanksha Chamola made headlines when she dropped a cryptic post on her social media handle. Multiple users misread it and thought the couple was heading for a divorce. Now, the Anupamaa actor, Gaurav Khanna has finally opened up about the same. 

Gaurav Khanna shuts down divorce rumours

Recently, Gaurav Khanna addressed the buzz around his and Akanksha’s divorce. For those who do not know, Akanksha had dropped a cryptic post on her IG handle about the weak foundation in any relationship. The post instantly made headlines. Recently, Gaurav Khanna slammed the reports and made it clear that everything was good between the couple. According to The Times Of India, he was quoted as saying:

“I don’t understand where does such news come from? I feel it’s the work of keyboard warriors who don’t even try to get details from the person about whom they are writing.”

He further highlighted the fact that the post shared by Akanksha Chamola was a part of her new series, Dil, Dhokha Aur Desire and had no connection to their personal life. Gaurav Khanna also explained that the two are in a very healthy relationship and are not planning to part ways. He also supported his wife, who is resuming her work after a long time. In his words:

“The cryptic note by Akanksha was part of publicity for her upcoming web series and people took it as if we were heading towards seperation. We are happily together as a couple. Akanksha is getting back to acting and I support her totally in whatever she wants to do. We respect each other feelings and will always do. There is no truth to any speculations!”

When Akanksha Chamola opened up about the divorce buzz

A few weeks ago, Akanksha Chamola sat down for an interview with the Bombay Times, during which she had opened up about the cryptic post and the divorce buzz. She had shared that the post was regarding her web series; however, it was blown out of proportion. She had also explained that she is not someone who would discuss her personal life on social media. She had shared:

“There is absolutely no trouble in our marriage, and the post had nothing to do with Gaurav. I am not someone who discusses personal matters on social media. The post was meant to promote my upcoming series. It was open to interpretation, but it was blown out of proportion.”
