As Gordon Ramsay wades into Brooklyn Beckham’s feud with his family, his parents and siblings have made a series of emotional and heartfelt posts on social media
The Beckham family are showing no signs of strain as attention around Brooklyn and his parents Sir David and Victoria Beckham isn’t slowing down. Family friend Gordon Ramsay waded in on the feud as he called on Brooklyn to “remember where you came from” after commenting on the very public rift.Despite this, it was business as usual for the Beckhams on Valentine’s Day as they made a series of public declarations of love on social media. Harper Beckham kicked off the Valentine’s Day messages as she declared her father David as her ‘first and always Valentine’ in heartwarming tributes shared on social media. The 14 year old posted to Instagram on Saturday, sharing a nostalgic black and white photograph from her childhood alongside her dad.
She penned: “Happy Valentine’s Day to my first and always Valentine, I’m so grateful for all the laughs, advice and hugs we share. I love you more than all the chocolate and flowers in the world!”
David reshared the sweet snap to his Instagram Stories, jokingly adding: “I’m not crying, honestly.” The Beckhams’ youngest also uploaded a photo of herself as a youngster with her mum. Her caption read: “Happy Valentine’s to my best friend and the best mum ever, I love you more than anything x.”
Cruz’s romance with Jackie Apostel appears to be going from strength to strength as she posted a loving Valentine’s Day message. Alongside multiple pictures of the couple, Jackie shared: ‘With you, everything is clear, there is zero noise.
“You can tell what I think or feel, with no words coming out of my mouth and you can make me smile with no words coming out of yours. There’s not a thing I don’t love about you, but the highest up there is how you love me. how lucky are we 🙂 happy valentines everyone.” Victoria responded to the post, commenting: “We love you!”
David and Victoria showed their affection for each other as they both posted throwback pictures looking loved up. David captioned his post: “My Forever Valentine I love you” as Victoria posted a similar caption: “Forever my Valentine I love you”.
This display of affection comes whilst David and Victoria navigate an ongoing rift with Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz. Their close friend Gordon admitted it must be “hard” for Brooklyn because he’s “infatuated” with wife Nicola Peltz.
He continued and said he “loves” the Beckhams’ eldest son, describing the 26 year old as having an “incredible” heart, though he emphasised that Brooklyn must recognise he won’t always have his mum and dad around.
Brooklyn confirmed via social media that he has no desire to “reconcile” with his family, finally breaking his silence on rumours of a breakdown between the aspiring chef, his wife Nicola, and the Beckham clan.
In a bombshell statement last month, Brooklyn claimed his parents had placed “Brand Beckham” above everything else and manipulated media narratives. He insisted Sir David and Lady Victoria had attempted “endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped”.
Brooklyn further alleged his wife had suffered “disrespected” from his family. Speaking to the Sun newspaper, Ramsay commented: “I love him (Brooklyn), his heart is incredible, but it’s hard, isn’t it? I think when you’re infatuated, you know, love is blind.
“They say it for that reason, and so, you know, he’s desperate to stand on his own two feet. He’s desperate to forge his own way. And I respect that from Brooklyn, and that’s such a good thing to do. But remember where you came from, and honestly, one day you’re not going to have your mum and dad, and you need to understand that.”
Gordon described the Beckham’s bond with their son as “solid”. “I’ve seen, Tana’s (Ramsay’s wife) seen, first hand just how good parents they are, and David as a dad is just incredible,” Ramsay stated.
