While a host of celebrities posted gushing messages to their partners to celebrate Valentine’s Day Kylie Jenner took a completely different approach as her and Timothee Chalamet spend the day apart

It was only a month ago Timothee Chalamet stood on stage at the Critics’ Choice Awards and told the world that he loved his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. But what a difference a few weeks makes, as the beauty brand billionaire and mum of two, posted a gushing message to her mother Kris Jenner to celebrate Valentine’s Day, instead of her boyfriend.

Sharing a post of her Valentine’s Day donuts she was gifted while at home on her own, she captioned the post saying: “my mommys still my Valentine @krisjenner.”

Meanwhile, the award-winning actor, 30, attended the American Cinematheque screening of his former hit movie Call Me By Your Name, by himself.

Timothee was seen on stage for the Q&A alongside Apple Music host Zane Lowe, answering questions from the crowd that included high profile names such as actress Ellie Fanning.

In another post on the romantic day of the year, it was work as usual for Kylie as she posted a number of promotional messages for her beauty lines, which included an album of her and her sister Kourtney Kardashian.

Kourtney was promoting her women’s supplement brand Lemme, while Kylie was advertising Kylie Cosmetics. Lemme and Kylie Cosmetics has now joined forces to produce a line of Skin Glaze Gummies that cost nearly $30 for a bottle of 60 gummies.

This is in stark contrast to last month when Timothee announced to the world that he loved Kylie and praised the reality TV star turned beauty mogul.

The actor was crowned Best Actor for his role in Marty Supreme, beating the likes of Michael B Jordan, Ethan Hawke and Leonardo DiCaprio.

During his emotional acceptance speech he started off by thanking the other nominees in the coveted category along with his production team and cast.

He then turned his attention to Kylie and said: “Lastly, I’ll just say, thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you.” He added: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.”

The camera then panned to the sister of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian as well as model Kendall Jenner, and viewers saw her mouth the words “I love you too,” in response to Timothee’s declaration.

Last month Kylie nearly crashed the internet after fans spotted what looked to be an engagement ring. The large diamond was swinging round her pinky finger on her left hand.

And fans were convinced that if the ring was meant to be on her little finger it would fit far more snug, leading many to believe it was an engagement ring.

After spotting the ring, fans then wasted no time in rushing to the comment section of her post. One person wrote: “It HAS to be an engagement ring because it’s too big to be fitted for her pinky.” Another added: “Mrs. Chalamet has never looked this beautiful. A touch of happiness made her glow.”

Meanwhile a third person said: “Mrsssss Chalamet looking soooo good!!!!” A fourth fan added: “Kylie Chalamet.” “Anyone else notice that ring turns to the side?”

“I see that diamond on the pinky,” observed a different user. “Let me see the ring, Kylieeeee,” said a fifth. While rumours of a relationship started in the summer of 2023, the couple made their romance official by walking the red carpet at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Italy, in May last year.
