Nadine Baggott shared some of her wet weather beauty essentials on This Morning recently, and they included a pair of cordless straighteners for styling your hair on the go

Nothing ruins your hair faster than some wind and rain, and although there’s a glimmer of spring in the air, we’ve still got plenty of winter weather to endure before we get there. So if you’re fed up with spending ages getting your hair looking smooth and sleek only to have it immediately messed up, this handy little gadget is here to save the day.

The Cordless Hair Straighteners Brush was featured in Nadine Baggott’s beauty segment on This Morning recently where she shared her favourite products to help your beauty routine survive the wet weather. Currently priced at £43.68 on Amazon for the black version or £37.11 for the white one, this is the perfect handy tool to help you on the go.

With no wires or plug sockets needed, the Cordless Hair Straighteners Brush is perfect for giving your hair a quick touch up when you reach the office, styling it after a trip to the gym, or just giving it a freshen up once you’ve made it onto the train. It runs off the battery, which you can charge up by popping it on the charging dock when you get back home, and automatically switches off after 20 minutes for peace of mind.

It’s also lightweight and compact enough to fit into your bag on the go, whilst still being powerful enough to give you some easy and effective styling. It’s also perfectly sized for taking on holiday to help tame frizzy hair in the heat without having to take your full size styling tool.

Unlike traditional straighteners with two plates, the Cordless Hair Straighteners Brush has a brush design that straightens as you comb it through your hair, making it less damaging and even easier to use. It uses negative ions to smooth and increase shine whilst protecting hair from damage, and you can choose from nine different temperature settings between 120°C and 200°C.

You can also pick up a similar device at Boots, where the Revamp Straight and Go Ionic Cordless Straightening And Smoothing Hot Brush is £89.99 and features the same brush design. However if you prefer a classic plate-style straightener, the Beurer StylePro Cordless Mini Hair Straightener is £59.99 and has three temperature settings.

You could also pick up the REVAMP Liberate Cordless Compact Ceramic Hair Straightener at Amazon where it’s on sale down from £99.99 to £59.99. However Nadine’s recommended Cordless Hair Straighteners Brush have also gotten good reviews from shoppers.

One said: “Better than expected. Heated up pretty quickly, using them was very easy, quickly straightened my curly frizzy hair.”

Whilst another agreed: “I’ve given 4 stars, it’s a good little brush you can vary the temperature, it will fit into a bag/handbag, it looks good and I can tidy hair whenever I need, only reason loss of star was no carrying bag for using on the go.”

Some found the battery life of the Cordless Hair Straighteners Brush wasn’t great, however, saying: “A great idea, small and easy to carry around. However, runs out of battery very quickly.. unreliable if out without the charger.”

And another added: “Great product but battery life too low to do whole head of hair on one charge.”
