For the premier after-party of her movie, The Bluff, Priyanka Chopra Jonas chose a saturated yellow sari gown from Gaurav Gupta’s The Divine Androgyne Paris Couture Collection SS ’26. The silhouette draws on the language of the sari with a corseted bodice that pulls the fabric inward at the waist before releasing it into gathered folds and a high slit. From one shoulder, a length of chiffon continues into a trailing veil, extending the drape into a trail.
The impact comes from the cut: the tension between the structured bodice and the fluid fall of fabric, the way the drape is engineered rather than wrapped.

Chopra Jonas described the look as “an ode to Ercell Bodden, my character in The Bluff. In the opening of the film she appears with a dupatta over her head, a subtle but meaningful marker of identity and strength.” Stylists Wayman and Micah pair the look with a Judith Leiber minaudière shaped like a treasure chest, which introduces a hard, gem-studded surface against the fluid chiffon, while gold Jimmy Choo pumps with a crystal chain pick up on that glint.
Hair is worn long and loose beneath the veil, allowing the drape to remain the dominant line. Makeup follows a warmer register: bronzed skin, softly defined eyes and a berry-nude lip that offsets the intensity of the yellow.

“To recreate this Indian goddess yellow sari gown look by Gaurav Gupta, opt for a fitted corset gown in an impactful colour. You can easily add the pallu drape with matching chiffon or spandex material. Drape it according to your mood and accessorise with a haath phool and some intense kohled eyes for maximum effect,” says Vogue India fashion associate Divya Balakrishnan.
