Jay Leno was back in the driver’s seat — taking his antique wheels for a spin through the streets of Los Angeles.
The Beverly Hills funnyman and former “Tonight Show” host, 75, was spotted cruising around town on Wednesday in one of his prized vintage automobiles, turning heads as he chugged along.
Leno was behind the wheel of his 1907 White Model G steam car, a 30-horsepower, brass-era touring machine built by the White Motor Company.
The open-air antique — finished in green and black with polished brass lamps and trim — runs on a compound steam engine rather than gasoline, and features three rows of seating and a tall, upright windshield.
Only a tiny fraction of the roughly 9,000 White steam cars built between 1900 and 1911 are believed to survive today — fewer than 170 worldwide, according to collector registries.
About half of those remaining examples are housed in museums, leaving a small pool in private hands.
Leno, known for his encyclopedic car collection, appeared relaxed and focused as he piloted the early 20th century ride through city traffic, its brass fixtures gleaming in the California sun.
Despite past mishaps, including serious burns suffered in a 2022 garage fire and injuries from a motorcycle accident months later, Leno has shown no signs of slowing down.
