Divyaa Agarwal Breaks Silence On Divorce From Apurva Padgaonkar, ‘Married You Only Because…’

Divyaa Agarwal, who was last seen on the reality show, 50, was dragged into a controversy when someone claimed that she is going to divorce her husband, Apurva Padgaonkar. She took to her Instagram handle and shared a sweet note, slamming directly those who were pointing fingers at her marriage and relationship.

On February 20, 2026, Divyaa took to her Instagram handle and posted a sweet wish for Apurva to shut down the divorce buzz. She shared a sweet clip with her husband, which seems to be from their outing together as they were heading towards their flight. She added Lata Mangeshkar and Talat Mahmood’s song, ‘Itna Na Mujhse Tu Pyaar Badha.‘ Along with it, she revealed the reason for marrying him and how he is the only one who understands her the most. She said:

“I married you only because you are the only one who understands everything, you never wanted to change me .. you know the core of me … happy anniversary to my love.. counting many more no matter how crazy it gets.. it’s him and I. He never feared what I’m thinking or feeling he knows it.”

It is worth mentioning that divorce rumours surfaced on the internet, after Bhavya Singh called out Divyaa , and claimed that she lives separately from Apurva while they were on the reality show, The 50. Soon, netizens found out that Apurva’s presence had been missing from Divyaa ‘s Instagram feed. He didn’t even post any promotional content or an appreciation note for his wife, Divyaa , on social media, and it further escalated the buzz. Bhavya said:

“Diwali par asli phatake toh iske ghar par poothe the, aur maine phode the Aur aaj tak maine kabhi bola nahi woh… aur na kabhi podcast par na kabhi kuch. Kabhi bolungi bhi nahi… kyunki inka khud ka aapsi parivaarik maamla tha.. usmein mujhe involve kar diya in logon ne. Bheek maangte hain logon se Mumbai mein ke mere ghar aajao… aap mere paas aajao, please milo mujhse…alag rehti hai apne pati se.”

After this, Divyaa ‘s team issued a statement slamming Bhavya’s big remark. They wrote that it was uncalled and unethical. They called Bhavya’s remarks baseless and not truthful. They wrote:

“What was said and done was deeply uncalled for and unethical. Repeatedly claiming ‘I won’t say anything’ and then continuing to blabber baseless personal narratives only exposes intent, not truth. This was never meant to be a personal battleground it’s a game designed to test strength, strategy, and the mind. Dragging someone’s personal life into the narrative reflects far more on the person choosing to do so than on the one being spoken about. Divyaa a has always stood for dignity, loyalty, and genuine friendships, and those who truly know her know exactly where she stands.”

For the unversed, reports of Divyaa and Apurva’s separation made rounds when Divyaa completely deleted all the posts with Apurva, including their wedding photos just three months after her marriage. Later, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Divyaa Agarwal clearly stated that she is happy in her marriage with Apurva, and there is nothing wrong between them. She added that everything is done, and that part is going well, and she doesn’t want to talk about it.
