A young team of Partizan put up strong resistance against Apollon. The Serbs were two steps ahead of the rival at the first break – 6:4. The Greek team, led by American Olympian Hannes Daube, who scored nine goals, managed to level at 9:9 in the second quarter. In the opening minutes of the third period, the teams were in a close contest until 13:13. Then, Apollon scored three straight goals, going to 16:13. Partizan couldn’t catch up with the rival.
Panionios was too strong for the home team.

Tenerife secured a victory over Rapid after staging a remarkable comeback in the second half.
Mornar managed to salvage a point against ZV De Zaan and ultimately won another point in a penalty shootout. The lead changed hands multiple times throughout the match. Midway through the third quarter, Mornar led 8:6, but the hosts’ momentum faltered as their offense stalled. The Dutch team seized control, launching a 5:0 run to take an 11:8 lead in the 27th minute. However, Mornar rallied and equalized just two seconds before the final buzzer when Stojanac scored to make it 12:12. In the penalty shootout, the home players displayed stronger nerves and secured another point.

Crvena Zvezda beat Sete yesterday, playing with 10 players. The Serbian team had a nine-player roster in the second round (because of a red card shown to Popovic against Sete). Despite this, the Belgrade-based team was neck-and-neck with Mataro for more than three quarters. Early in the fourth period, the teams were tied at 5:5. Mataro built a 7:5 lead shortly after and maintained the difference until the end.
Posillipo established an early 5:1 lead against Sete, which set the tone of the match.
