Katie Price’s daughter, Princess Andre, has spotted a distinct difference between her childhood and that of her half-siblings, after her dad remarried
Princess Andre has noticed one huge difference between her “weird” childhood and that of her half-siblings, claiming they “get to live”. The reality star, and daughter of former glamour model Katie Price, was thrust into the public eye from birth, with no choice in the matter.
The 18-year-old’s dad Peter Andre has since remarried and started a family with wife Emily MacDonagh, with the couple sharing three young children. But their kids, Millie, 12, Theo, nine, and one-year-old Arabella, have been consciously kept from the spotlight, with NHS doctor Emily, 36, not allowing them to even be photographed in public without permission.

Princess has addressed the stark difference between her and brother Junior’s upbringing. Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, the social media influencer said: “It is strange when we are all out together, because people recognise me and Junior, but not them. It’s weird, as we are all from the same family, but I think it’s good as they get to live. When I see them I think: ‘Oh, you get to live a normal life.’ It’s so cool.”
However, Princess predicts her young siblings may want to go into showbiz in the future. She said her brother Theo is “a performer already”, who loves “singing and dancing”, with his older sister Millie “probably the same”.
Princess has the stability of a family home with her dad Peter and his wife Emily, while her mum Katie has been spending time in Dubai with her new husband, Lee Andrews. The mum-of-five shocked her family and fans when she announced she had married Lee, who she’d met days earlier – on social media, not least.
Despite the shock and sudden split with her former boyfriend of two years JJ Slater, Princess seems to be standing by her mum. She told the paper she knows her mum’s “crazy”, but if “she’s happy, I’m happy”.
Katie also revealed she wasn’t told about her mum’s wedding until after it happened. This was confirmed by Katie’s ex-husband Alex Reid, who told the Mirror that her two children were left “surprised” by the romance.
Alex said he believed the wedding to self-confessed entrepreneur Lee Andrews was a publicity stunt. He added that there was a “sadness” about that, as it affected her children. He said: “Katie likes new and flashy. And it’s also another headline. It doesn’t matter.
“This is the sadness. The expense of the people around her. Her family. Her loved ones. Her children.”
His manager, Lee Stafford, then revealed that he had been in contact with Peter Andre, Katie’s first husband, who said that he didn’t talk about Katie’s latest marriage with their children. He added: “I spoke to Peter recently and asked him how Princess and Junior are handling it. He says they don’t talk about it. What do you say? What do you say to your kids when it’s someone that nobody knows?”
He added: “I mean, you know, it’s kind of taken everyone a bit by surprise. In a way of, she’s gone to this extreme. Not that I’m surprised she got married or found someone. But she’s gone to an extreme in doing this.”
