To save his daughter, ‘Bob’ is forced to return to the dark and chaotic world that he once left. In the movie, he confronts his former allies, who no longer trust me, faces political enemies and handles his own guilt. The film also shows ‘Bob’s’ past and what he did before living a private life. Apart from focusing on the political aspects, the film, One Battle After Another also focuses on the father-daughter relationship.

One Battle After Another, starring Leonardo DiCaprio is all set to premiere on the OTT giant, JioHotstar, from February 26, 2026. For the unversed, On February 23, 2026, JioHotstar took to their official Instagram handle and announced the release date of the film. Cinephiles will need a subscription to the OTT platform to watch the much-loved movie. In the caption, they also congratulated the makers for their big win at the BAFTA Awards. The caption can be read as:

In fact, the film has been nominated in 13 different categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress and more. He shared that even though it is not a biopic, the film is inspired by multiple real stories. He was quoted as saying:

“Anderson based this on a lot of the activities of The Weathermen, late 1960s revolutionaries that were fighting imperialism, the Vietnam War, civil rights. They were multicultural people that then had to sort of scatter like rats around the country and try to assimilate themselves and disappear into everyday society, but at a time and a place they were willing to risk their life for their ideology and belief system.”
