Kerry Katona gave a candid insight into her life with current partner Paolo Margaglione as the pair spoke of the importance of being intimate
Kerry Katona is hoping she has finally been lucky in love as things continue to heat up with current partner, Paolo Margaglione. The former Atomic Kitten star, 45, first met Paolo, 34, as she looking for Mr Right on Celebs Go Dating last year.
Now, 10 months on, the singer has been very open on their romantic connection – including their most intimate secrets. Speaking to the Mirror at their sprawling six-bedroom property in Prestbury, Cheshire, Kerry confessed that the physical side of their relationship is “really important”.
“I love intimacy,” Kerry said as the couple gazed at each other and giggled. She added: “I think it’s really important.”

And it was something Paolo wholeheartedly agreed with. “It is important, but you only get that from the effort you put in, because it’s easy to lose.”
Kerry went on to say: “I didn’t realise how starved I was, even from just conversing with someone.” And it was clear how much her new man means to her, with her adoration for Paolo unmistakable.

As she momentarily stepped out of the room, she gushed, “Told you – he’s amazing! This is forever and ever and ever for me.”
She admitted: “I don’t think I’ve ever been in love before – ever. Like truly, truly ever been in love. I don’t know if it’s because I’m in a different stage of my life. I’m more settled with who I am.”
And she also revealed the pair are sure there is going to be wedding bells in the future. However, both Kerry and Paolo are adamant it won’t just be a tick-box exercise. Instead, they want it “to be the right moment”.
The couple are navigating having a blended family Paolo has daughters Milani, four, and Nola, two, while Kerry is mum to Molly, 24, Lilly-Sue, 23, Heidi, 18, Max, 17, and 11 year old Dylan-Jorge. And the couple insist their children have always been, and will continue to be, their top priority.
“Blending families can be challenging,” Paolo said. “You’ve got a lot to think about. The kids have their routine with Kerry and mine have their routine with me. But we’re in a really nice place with the kids.”
The couple is joined by Paolo’s daughters every weekend and all the children have since developed strong bonds. Kerry went as far as saying that Paolo’s girls “idolise” her kids. And she is happy that her brood have also formed a connection with Paolo.
