Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda got married in a traditional wedding ceremony in Udaipur on February 26, 2026. Their wedding was no less than a fairytale affair as Rashmika looked super pretty as Vijay Deverakonda’s bride. The celebrations were attended by Tharun Bhascker, Rahul Ravindran, Eesha Rebba, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Ashika Ranganath and Shravya Varma, but they all kept mum about the wedding. Now, Rashmika made her first appearance with Vijay Deverakonda, and she looked gorgeous.

Vijay and Rashmika were spotted at the airport on February 27, 2026. The couple happily posed as newlyweds as they acknowledged the media. Vijay looked stunning in a pastel-hued Indo-western ensemble. Rashmika looked pretty in a red anarkali suit with a matching red-hued dupatta. She accentuated her look with sindoor and a traditional Kankanam. The couple was seen posing and giving flying kisses to their fans.

What is the significance of the Kankanam for a Telugu bride?

Rashmika and Vijay got married as per Telugu Hindu rituals and Kodava traditions. Rashmika also flaunted Kankanam, which is a sacred ornament or thread that is of great spiritual and protective significance. It acts as a vow of commitment and keeps the newly-married couple away from evil eye and bad energies during a life-altering ceremony. The bride and groom tie this sacred thread, which is dipped in turmeric, around each other’s wrists. It also acts as a shield to ward off negative vibes during the vulnerable phase.

After getting married, Rashmika and Vijay shared glimpses of their wedding. Rashmika posted adorable photos from the wedding ceremony and introduced her husband to the world. She revealed how he taught her what true love feels like and the true meaning of being at peace. She is the man who made her believe in dreaming big. She added that she is super excited to become his wife. Her long note can be read as:

Rashmika Mandanna, in an interview with The Times Of India, revealed that she needs her partner at every phase of her life. She added that for her kindness and respect is really important in a relationship. She was quoted as saying:

“My partner. I need my partner in every phase of my life. I need that comfort, security, and empathy. My most important thing in a relationship is definitely kindness, but also respect. When you mutually respect one another, genuinely care, and are responsible for one another… it all adds up.”
