It was a night of pride and heartbreak for the Osbourne family as Ozzy Osbourne was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Brit Awards – but one familiar face was missing

Sharon and Kelly Osbourne were in Manchester to see the late Ozzy Osbourne honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award at the 2026 Brit Awards last night.

The mother and daughter duo were joined Louis Osbourne, Ozzy’s son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley – but many fans were surprised not to see I’m a Celebrity …Get Me Out of Here! star Jack Osbourne inside the Co-op Arena to see the tribute to his late father.

Robbie Williams led a supergroup made up of Ozzy’s former bandmates on stage last night, seven months on from the Black Sabbath frontman’s death at the age of 76. The former Take That singer closed the 2026 Brit Awards with a rendition of No More Tears – the title track from Ozzy’s 1991 album of the same name.

Speaking to the Mirror and other press on the red carpet ahead of the ceremony, Sharon explained the very good reason why 40-year-old son Jack had to skip the star-studded bash.

Jack and his wife, Aree Gearhart, are expecting their second baby together. He also shares three children with his ex-wife Lisa Stelly, whom he separated from in May 2018.

“The baby’s due any day. He’s sad not to be here, but he’s here in spirit,” proud sister Kelly gushed on the red carpet.

While Kelly now lives in the UK, Sharon revealed her trip to Manchester was only a flying visit – and she would be heading back to America straight away. “I have to go back because Jack’s baby is due next week, so I have to go back to help him with my grandkids,” she said.

Asked what she was looking forward to the most about being a grandmother again, the former X Factor judge beamed as she said: “Well, everything, the babies are just the best. I think it’s the whole reason, you know, to keep going and to smile.”

Sharon and Kelly both made a heartfelt speech before Robbie’s tribute to Ozzy last night. While Dolly Parton introduced the pair on stage via a pre-recorded message from Nashville.

“If Ozzy was here tonight with us, he would be showing us that gorgeous smile that he had – and I know he would be so proud to receive this from the country that he loved,” an emotional Sharon said during the speech.

Robbie, along with Ozzy’s former bandmates Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde, then delivered their musical tribute to Ozzy.

While Robbie went down a treat inside the arena, and won the approval of viewers watching at home, some had thought Yung Blud would be the one to honour Ozzy on stage.

Yungblud and Ozzy developed a close mentorship and friendship before the rocker’s death, with Ozzy gifting Yungblud his personal cross necklace. Yung Blud was also the one to perform a tribute cover of Black Sabbath’s Changes at Ozzy’s final ever show last year.

Asked if Yungblud was ever in the running to perform, Sharon explained: “He’s in the studio in LA”, with Kelly adding: “He’s one of the busiest musicians I know.”

The pair were more than happy for Robbie to step up to the challenge, revealing that the Brit Pop icon didn’t need any persuading. “He’s the most warmest, down to earth person,” Sharon said of Robbie. And she confessed she sees a number of the same qualities in Robbie as she did her husband.

In July last year, Ozzy performed what would be his final, career-concluding performance in his hometown as he reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates at Villa Park for the Back to the Beginning show. He died just 17 days later.

“There’s gonna be a movie of the concert. We’re working on it right now,” Sharon revealed on the red carpet. “It’s all under wraps,” Kelly added.

Discussing Ozzy’s posthumous honour at the Brits, Sharon proudly stated: “I’m totally biased, but Ozzy’s had a 56-year career and in his entire career, he’s sold millions and millions of records. He’s been a great ambassador for this country, and even though Ozzy isn’t with us, he’s left us a great body of work.”
