Iconic Midland pub The Bellevue Hotel is closed temporarily after a fire ripped through the venue on Sunday evening.
Firefighters received multiple triple-zero calls at 7.33pm reporting flames coming from the second story of the 123-year-old building.
Eleven appliances were sent to fight the blaze, which was under control by 8.46pm.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the fire started on the first floor and spread to the second floor.
The pub had been evacuated, and no one was injured.
A fire investigation officer was at the scene on Monday morning trying to determine the cause of the fire.
On Facebook, pub owners confirmed the pub was shut on Monday due to the fire, but they hoped to reopen “ASAP”.
“We won’t be closed for too long,” they said.
The pub’s social media was inundated with comments from customers expressing relief no one was injured and the damage wasn’t too extensive.
“Hoping for a speedy fix! I almost fell over when I saw this!” Bellevue Hotel customer Phil said.
