It would be wrong to say its commanding corner position across the road from the famous Brunswick Heads Bridge is the reason why this Japanese restaurant is always busy. It’s helpful, but its brand of fun eating and good music keeps people coming back.
There’s a lot of easy-drinking cocktails (the yuzu spicy margarita for example), and a menu of tasty, crowd-pleasing things like miso-caramelised salmon skewers, a fresh crushed cucumber salad and scallops baked with kimchi butter. Using top produce sourced from the northern rivers helps make this place good, too.
