Richard Riakporhe will fight Jeamie TKV for the British heavyweight title on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s comeback.
Fury returns to boxing after a year’s retirement to take on Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on April 11, with Conor Benn vs Regis Prograis the chief support.
TKV puts that British heavyweight championship he won against Frazer Clarke on the line against Riakporhe, the cruiserweight world title contender who has made a successful move up to heavyweight.
Riakporhe most recently took out Tommy Welch on the undercard of Benn’s rematch with Chris Eubank Jr also at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Frazer Clarke suffered a punishing defeat against TKV when they fought in November.
But the Olympic bronze medallist is going straight back into hard fight. He will box Australia’s Justis Huni, who was leading his contest with Fabio Wardley last year before losing via a late knockout.
Huni said: “I’m truly honoured to be fighting in London on such a huge card headlined by Tyson Fury. The UK has a proud boxing tradition, and it means a lot to perform in front of these fans.
“April 11 is another important step in my journey, and I’m coming to deliver a strong performance and show I belong at the very top.”
In addition there will be preliminary bouts: Troy Williamson vs Simon Zachenhuber; Felix Cash vs Liam O’Hare; Elliot Whale vs Tom Hill; Hector Avila Lozano vs Sultan Almohammed; Mikie Tallon vs Cristopher Rios and Breyon Gorham vs Eduard Georgiev.
Watch Terri Harper fight Caroline Dubois for the WBC and WBO world lightweight championships live on Sky Sports on Sunday April 5.
