Nancy Guthrie has been missing for a month. She was last seen at her home in Tucson, Arizona on 31 January, and law enforcement have since said they think she was kidnapped.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told the Daily Mail that footage local police had found of a masked figure trying to interfere with a doorbell camera lead them to believe this was an abduction. Sheriff Nanos said: “This is somebody who’s disappeared from the face of the earth, and now we have a camera that says here’s the person who did this. And that’s what makes me say this is a kidnapping.”

A glove that matched those worn by the masked figure was also found near the scene and an FBI spokesperson told Fox News that the glove matched DNA they found at the home but did not seem to match anyone close to Nancy. They said: “The one with the DNA profile recovered is different and appears to match the gloves of the subject in the surveillance video.”

Police also found blood matching Nancy’s outside her home and the house was formally declared a crime scene. The FBI have issued their own reward for information that either lead to Nancy’s return or an arrest, which stands at $100,000.

The Guthrie family have also issued a reward. Presenter Savannah posted a video to Instagram, in which she offered a $1 million reward for any information that helped the family get Nancy back. “We still believe in a miracle, we still believe that she can come home – hope against hope,” she said. “We also know that she may be lost, she may already be gone, she may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves.”

Savannah added that they would donate $500,000 to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. This was in the hopes that the “attention that has been given to out mom and our family will extend to all families”.

The day after the Guthrie sisters visited their mother’s house, a man who was detained in connection with the case and later released spoke out. Luke Daley had been detained by SWAT as his home was raided.

After being released from custody, he explained that he and his 77-year-old mother were detained for hours as his home was searched. He and his mother are said to live two miles from Nancy’s home. The pair were released without charge. Daley told True Crime Arizona host Briana Whitney that he felt he was targeted because social media users said he looked similar to the masked person seen at Nancy’s house.

“It’s not me,” he said. “I don’t see the resemblance of it looking like me. Absolutely not. I have nothing to do with this case.” He added: Someone says something and then they just go off of it based on no evidence, no truth.” And he said he, “like everyone else”, is hoping Nancy comes home safely.

His attorney also insisted neither Daley nor his mother had anything to do with the case. Chris Scileppi said: “Daley and his mother were both detained by law enforcement while the search warrants were being executed.

“Neither Daley nor his mother were arrested in connection to this case or any other. Daley has no link whatsoever to Nancy Guthrie and has no information related to her kidnapping. Like the entire Tucson community, both Daley and his mother are hopeful that Nancy will be returned to her family unharmed.”
