ESPN personality Pat McAfee said it would “be cool” to meet Aaron Rodgers’ wife, Brittani.
During an interview with the Daily Mail, McAfee laughed when asked about the veteran quarterback’s wife after they secretly tied the knot last offseason.
“I have not,” McAfee said of meeting Rodgers’ wife. “But I am, once again, happy for him… and if I get a chance to meet her, that’ll obviously be cool.”
Rodgers, 42, who was previously engaged to actress Shailene Woodley and dated former NASCAR star Danica Patrick, made waves off the field when he revealed last summer that he’s married to a very private person.
In his first season with the Steelers, Rodgers told reporters last June that he’s been married “a couple months” when asked about the black ring he had been wearing — and many assumed he married his then-rumored girlfriend, Brittani.
Rodgers opened up about married life and called his wife “incredible” at Steelers training camp in July.
“When you meet the right one, and you’re with the right one, your whole world changes in a second. And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there’s no better feeling in the world, and I have the most incredible wife,” Rodgers said during an interview with NFL Network.
“I just really love her, and I’m so thankful to have her by my side at the end,” the NFL star added. “When you have that stability and that rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything.”

Two months after signing a one-year, $13.65 million contract with Pittsburgh, Rodgers told The Athletic in August that his wife’s sister encouraged him to join the Steelers.
Fox Sports reporter Jen Hale, who is friends with Rodgers, gushed over his marriage back in January.
“Everyone knows,” Hale said. “I can’t (say who she is). If I could, I would, but I can’t. He’s happy. He’s in a really good spot.
“I’ve never met her. I don’t know her. Aaron has become a friend over the years, so I wish him the very best. I think he’s happy. And that’s all you want for your people — you want them to find their comfort zone and their happiness.”
Rodgers, who’s currently contemplating retirement, first revealed his relationship with Brittani during a December 2024 appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” adding that she is a private person.
McAfee and Rodgers met at a golf tournament in the Bahamas in 2019.
After their friendship blossomed, the four-time NFL MVP appeared weekly on “The Pat McAfee Show” — in a segment entitled “Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays” — and divulged news about himself only to the ESPN personality.
McAfee announced that Rodgers’ segment was done in January 2024, after the quarterback suggested that late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was potentially associated with the late accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” earlier that month.
Kimmel, who publicly criticized Rodgers on his own show, threatened legal action against the QB.
“The Pat McAfee Show” airs on ESPN, while “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” airs on ABC, both of which are owned by parent company Disney.
