ICYMI, the internet is currently obsessed with frosted lipstick, and Willow Smith just put the coolest twist on the pearlescent lip look at Paris Fashion Week. Or shall we say, the most golden twist?
Smith, a Dior Beauty ambassador, is one of our favorite front-row attendees, so we were on high alert for her at the Fall/Winter 2026/2027 show. And as always, her glam details did not disappoint. The musician brought a little Y2K-futurism energy to Dior with her makeup, most notably that unmistakeable frosty, pearly texture so popular in the late ‘90s and early 2000s—an aesthetic experience a major resurgence today.
Her lips were lined with a dark greige liner, but instead of a pale pink, prismatic pastel, or shimmery beige lip color, Smith opted for a color-changing gold that flashed with metallic champagne tones in one light and warm, fiery orange in others, depending on the angle and the light. If you zoom in on the pic below, you’ll see how precisely the golden tones are layered, with the orange shade concentrated in the center of Smith’s lips and the pale gold applied around the perimeter.
The musician, who just released her seventh studio album Petal Rock Black, kept the rest of her makeup simple with wispy, long lashes and subtle reverse cat-eye black liner under her lower lashline, extending just past the outer corner of her eyes. Smith wore her hair in braids and accessorized with a lip piercing, sunglasses, and delicate hoop earrings.

The last time we saw Smith sitting front row at Dior was in fall 2025, when she attended the spring/summer show wearing a stacked, braided updo and a pale, baby blue eye shadow diffused all over her lids and up to her browbone. Spring may be on its way, but as Smith’s Paris Fashion Week makeup proves, there’s still some frost in the forecast—and that’s a good thing!
