وجاء في بيان إدارة تعليم المنطقة الشرقية عبر حسابها على تطبيق إكس: حرصًا على سلامة الجميع، وبناءً على التقارير الواردة من ⁧المركز الوطني للأرصاد، واستمرار الحالة المطرية على مدن ومحافظات ⁧المنطقة الشرقية⁩، فقد تقرر تحويل الدراسة اليوم الأربعاء 15 رمضان 1447هـ إلى التعليم عن بُعد عبر منصة مدرستي في جميع مدارس مدينة الدمام، ومحافظات الخبر والقطيف والبيضاء والجبيل ورأس تنورة وبقيق والنعيرية وقرية العليا والعديد .
