Montana Brown reacts to influencers posting from Dubai

A former Love Island star has hit out at the influencers who are posting videos from Dubai as the city comes under attack. Montana Brown couldn’t bite her tongue and slammed those who appear to be “terrified” while still “tanning their toes”.

Montana shared a video on TikTok to air her discontent. In an expletive rant, she raged: “Do you know what I’m finding f***ng strange right now, like everything going on in Dubai. I get it, it’s not ideal, but missiles are being intercepted.

“I am seeing so many influences posting from their sun loungers with their little f***ing tootsies out tanning at a hotel or tanning somewhere and being like, ‘it’s just terrifying’. Well, I didn’t see you post anything about Palestine, and I didn’t see you post anything about Gaza, where, you know were actually destroying people’s houses.

“And all I can see is like people videoing while tanning and sunbathing. I’m like, you’re not that worried, though, are you? Because you’re outside and you’re tanning? Like, how bad can it be?”

Followers were quick to have their input on the post in the comments section. One user wrote: “Also something so dystopian about them staying in a hotel and saying it’s terrifying but still expecting the staff to turn up to work like this isn’t happening in their homeland.” Another added: “Montana this is why I have next level respect for you. The realist on here,” while a third wrote: “Facts spoken.”

Montana’s comments come after Dubai came under missile attack at the weekend. It followed Donald Trump announcing the US had launched ‘major combat operations’ in Iran while Israel‘s defence minister said the country had launched a ‘preventative attack’ against Iran to “remove threats”.

Since then, Iran has since retaliated with striking Israel and US military targets across the Middle East. Explosions have been reported in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with missiles also targeting a US naval base in Qatar among other targets as Iran retaliate to strikes from the US. The Foreign Office urged UK nationals to take shelter.

Among those fleeing was former Love Island star Laura Anderson. The Scottish star had flown out with her young daughter, Bonnie, two, but have been forced to return home amid the conflict.

Before getting her flight, Laura shared an adorable moment that she says she will be able to cherish despite the terror. She posted to Instagram Stories as she sweetly played with her daughter Bonnie in her sister’s garden beside a swimming pool.

The youngster is seen smiling and laughing as she is surrounded by pool toys. Bonnie is seen playing catch with her mum as they enjoy time in the sunshine prior to their UK return.
