Cruz Beckham was supported at his latest gig by his dad David and grandad Ted as he performed in Manchester following his heartbreaking birthday message to Brooklyn

David Beckham and his dad Ted Beckham supported David’s son Cruz and his band at a gig in Manchester, showing the Beckham clan are going strong in the face of heartache.

Cruz reposted a photo shared by former football coach Nicky Butt, which included himself, David and Ted surrounding Cruz as the singer’s dad and grandad attended his Manchester gig on Wednesday. He wrote the caption: “Amazing performance tonight @cruzbeckham. And you are definitely a Manc”. Cruz also reshared videos from his latest gig where he was playing guitar and singing to a room filled with fans. One video showed David watching proudly from a balcony area as Crus performed to the crowd.

His latest performance comes after he shared a heartbreaking tribute to his older brother Brooklyn to celebrate his 27th birthday, despite the eldest Beckham child’s open animosity towards the family.

Posting to Instagram, Cruz shared a picture of a young Brooklyn, who turned 27 on 4 March, holding baby Cruz. Over the top, Cruz put a celebration emoji and wrote: “I love you.”

In the picture, Brooklyn, who was almost six when Cruz was born, has two protective arms around his brother. The simple message of love comes after Brooklyn publicly stated that he has no desire to reconcile with his family.

Brooklyn celebrated his birthday with his wife on Wednesday, with Nicola sharing a glimpse of the special day on her Instagram. The model and actor shared a video of Brooklyn surrounded by presents and balloons as he tucked into a tray of doughnuts.

Brooklyn took a bite out of a doughnut before pausing to ‘make a wish’ and blow out three candles. Nicola wrote in a heartfelt caption: “happy birthday baby. i hope all your dreams and wishes come true! you light up every room you walk into and anyone who knows you loves you. you’re the most special human and i love being your wife. i love you i love you i love you”.

Dad David also wished Brooklyn a happy birthday with two throwback photos of when Brooklyn was a young child, despite Brooklyn’s legal letter banning his parents from contacting him via social media. The first photo saw Brooklyn and Victoria in a pool with the caption: “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you.”

The following image was of just David and Brooklyn, captioned: “Happy Birthday Bust, Love you.” Victora later also shared two photographs on her Instagram story, including one that was captioned: “Happy Birthday, Brooklyn, we love you so much.”

Cruz recently celebrated his 21 birthday on 20 February, but the day went unmarked by Brooklyn. However, the rest of the family all came together for a party and posed for a group photo.

There had been much speculation about Brooklyn’s bond with his parents before his shock statement in January, where he accused them of putting “Brand Beckham” above all else. He also alleged his wife had been “disrespected” by his family and was not invited to his father’s 50th birthday party.
