وجاء في بيان بثّه التلفزيون الرسمي أن “مسيّرات تابعة للبحرية في القوات المسلحة استهدفت موقعا لقوات أميركية في معسكر الأديرع بالكويت”.
وتُعدّ القاعدة، المعروفة حاليا باسم معسكر بيورينغ في شمال غرب الكويت، من أبرز المنشآت العسكرية الأميركية في المنطقة.
