Bo Nix has a new birthday twin.
On Wednesday, wife Izzy Nix announced the birth of the couple’s first child, daughter Riley Belle, who was born on the Broncos quarterback’s 26th birthday in late February.
“Riley Belle Nix arrived on her dad’s birthday — 2/25/26 at 4:45 pm, 6 lbs 11 oz. The best birthday party I’ve ever been to!!!!!!” Izzy wrote on Instagram.
“‘For this child, I have prayed’ 1 Samuel 1:27. We are overwhelmed by the goodness of God and immeasurable joy that we have experienced this week! Thank you, Jesus, for choosing us to shepherd over her life.”
Izzy, who announced in October that she and Nix were expecting, received a slew of congratulatory messages from the NFL community, including heartfelt notes from Ann Michael Maye and Nicolette Wilson, the wives of QBs Drake Maye and Zach Wilson.
“Congratulations!!! So precious,” Ann Michael gushed.
“The most beautiful girls,” Nicolette wrote. “So so happy for you guys.”
Riley arrived one month after Denver’s playoff run ended in an AFC Championship loss to the Patriots.
Nix led the Broncos to a 14-3 regular season to clinch the AFC’s top seed.
He helped seal the Broncos’ overtime win against the Bills in the divisional round but sustained a season-ending ankle injury in the process.
“This is not how I imagined my season would come to an end, but our season has been defined by overcoming adversity and responding to it,” Nix wrote on Instagram following the 33-30 victory.
“…God never says oops, and he is always good. He has big plans for this team. We’re not finished, as a matter of fact we’re just getting started. We’re just going to keep climbing higher.”

Veteran backup Jarrett Stidham got the start in the AFC title game, an eventual 10-7 defeat at home.
Nix, the Broncos’ 12th overall pick in 2024, is “expected to be largely recovered in time to participate in the Broncos’ offseason program,” ESPN reported in January.
He and Izzy have been married since 2022.
