Suns forward Dillon Brooks’ mind appears to be solely on the court after his arrest.
Brooks, who was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning for suspicion of driving under the influence, posted a series of videos to social media of him putting up shots at the Suns’ practice facility.
The posts were on Brooks’ Instagram story and were without captions, with trainers being seen alongside him as he was working out.
Although it is not exactly certain when these videos were from, the fact they were posted on his Instagram story indicate they were likely from Friday.
Brooks, 30, was arrested by local authorities in Scottsdale, AZ at 1:33 a.m. local time during a traffic stop and was transported to the Scottsdale City Jail.
TMZ reported that Brooks was not impaired by alcohol, but they did not make clear what substance he was on.
According to the Scottsdale police department, Brooks was released following the booking process at around 3:30 a.m.
Brooks was “respectful and cooperative” during the proceedings, TMZ reported, and city prosecutors will determine any further charges for him.
“We are aware of the situation involving Dillon Brooks and are gathering more information,” the Suns said in a statement to AZCentral. “We have no further comment at this time.”
The arrest came as Brooks is currently rehabbing a fractured hand that he suffered during a win over the Magic on Feb. 21.

Brooks’ injury is expected to keep him sidelined from four to six weeks, which will surely be a big blow for Phoenix during the final stretch of the regular season.
The Canada native has had a career-year so far this season, averaging 20.9 points and 3.7 rebounds while making 2.3 3-point shots a night across 50 games played.
Phoenix currently sits in seventh place in the Western Conference with a 35-27 record.
