Canadian fitness YouTuber, Jeff Nippard, has been navigating a hard phase in his life as he lost his long-time girlfriend and fiancée, Stephanie Buttermore. Through a statement on social media, Jeff Nippard’s team confirmed the passing of Stephanie in her 30s. The reason for her passing hasn’t been disclosed.

However, fans have been wondering what led her to pass away, along with finding out the reasons for her staying away from the limelight, which is unlikely for a social media star like her, having 525K followers and more than a million on YouTube. As her followers have been questioning her absence on social media for several months now, the news of her passing came as a massive shock to them. Amid this, her last post on IG surfaced, wherein she talked about facing anxiety issues.

Stephanie Buttermore passed away in her 30s: Why did she take a break from social media?

Stephanie Buttermore was a scientist and an influencer. The gorgeous lady solidified her career as she transitioned her research career into a content journey, wherein she blended it with her passion for fitness. Stephanie had a PhD degree in from University of South Florida in pathology and cell biology and her research work was focused on the molecular mechanisms of ovarian cancer.

Well, even with a bright career and having a PhD, Stephanie moved online and became an online educator and content creator, wherein she used to document her journey. She showed in her content how she stepped away from a restrictive diet by letting her body reach its natural fat. While she was a famous face on social media, people were used to her content, which suddenly stopped as she was seen nowhere on social sites for the last two years. Yes! Stephanie took a break from social media, and this seemed to be mysterious to her fans, who constantly asked what the reason could be.

Stephanie Buttermore had suffered crippling anxiety? Her last post went viral

Amid her sudden passing in her 30s, her last post has been going viral, wherein she talked about her crippling anxiety. Stephanie’s last post was from April 2024, almost two years back, when she posted a snippet from her life, while in the caption, she talked about the pros and cons of staying away from social media. She said that she took a break from social media, and her mental health had been better. She mentioned having to deal with crippling anxiety, which even led her to face difficulty in breathing. Stephanie said that she couldn’t even come out of her house. An excerpt from her post could be read as:

“I’ve been pretty MIA on social media all year, but I’ve taken some pretty valuable things away from it. Some things are positive, some also negative. So I’m not here just to bash IG. Positive. My mental health has been the best it’s ever been, but I’ll give you some specifics. I no longer struggle with anxiety. At all. It was almost crippling a few years ago to the point I felt I couldn’t breathe or leave my house.”

It was in 2022 when Stephanie Buttermore got engaged to Jeff Nippard. In a long post, Jeff shared how he slid into the DMs of Stephanie and would Skype for hours for a month before they went on their first date in Canada, where she lived. Their first date was a shoulder exercise, and well, the duo’s shared values and interests bonded them together. And after 6 years of being together, Jeff proposed to her for marriage, and she said ‘Yes’.
