President Trump would support assassinating Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei if he refuses to give in to US demands, according to a new report.

Sources told the Wall Street Journal that Trump would back taking out Iran’s new religious leader if he doesn’t cooperate.

Such demands would include halting the Iranian nuclear weapons program.

Israeli forces would likely lead an operation to kill Mojtaba if he refused to play ball with the US, both current and former US officials told the Journal.

Trump previously told The Post he was “not happy” that Mojtaba – son of slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei – had been selected Sunday to succeed his father, who was killed by US and Israeli forces last weekend in a devastating strike on Tehran.

Mojtaba Khamenei was repeatedly treated for impotence as a younger man and had problems finding a wife, according to leaked diplomatic cables.

His father, mother, wife and son were all killed in the Israeli strike at the outset of the Iran war. He was also injured in the blast, according to Iranian media.
