The lanes of B-town are buzzing with excitement as Rajesh Khanna’s grand daughter Naomika Saran is all set to make her big Bollywood debut. The starlet has apparently been prepping for over a year to be a part of Maddock Films’ upcoming movie. The film stars Naomika opposite Vedang Raina and this fresh pairing has already created a stir online. Our source has now given an update on the same, he said, “Jimmy Sheirgill is also a part of this project and it is being directed by Qismat, Jatt and Juliet 3 and Shadaa’s director Jagdeep Sidhu.”
Interestingly reports also claim that Vedang’s role was earlier written keeping Agastya Nanda in mind. However later, Vedang was locked for the role. The movie is being backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and is a breezy romantic comedy.
Naomika is Rinke Khanna’s daughter and the grand daughter of Dimple Kapadia and late Rajesh Khanna. The young girl has been leaving no stone upturned to prep for her big debut. From acting classes to working on her diction, she has been doing it all.
Vedang, on the other hand, is busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next opposite Sharvari. That film also stars Diljit Dosanjh in a crucial role. This will be the first time Vedang and Sharvari will be working with Imtiaz and there is a lot of excitement surrounding this project too.
But, it’ll be interesting to watch Vedang and Naomika take over the big screen soon. Their project is expected to go on floor in Mid of 2026. With all the other details in place, this one is sure to launch another talented youngster in the industry. Keep watching this space for more on Bollywood.
