The makers are keen on releasing Dhurandhar in the theatres, ahead of Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s release on March 19, 2026. The re-release of Dhurandhar has been slated for March 13.

The theatrical re-release is happening across approximately 500 screens worldwide, including 250 screens in India beginning March 12 and 250 overseas, beginning March 13. For fans of the franchise, the re-release offers a thrilling opportunity to relive the phenomenon that redefined the spy-action genre and follow it up with the sequel just days later. This decision was also taken so that fans can experience the two chapters of the saga back-to-back on the big screen.

While re-releases of major films have occasionally been seen in India, international re-releases of Hindi films remain extremely rare. However, Aditya Dhar and the makers wanted to re-release Dhurandhar worldwide, owing to the film’s demand globally. As per the makers, the film will return to theatres across nearly 185 screens in North America alone, signalling the anticipation for the next chapter.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge will host special Wednesday premiere shows across the USA and Canada on March 18, a day ahead of its global release. These premieres will take place largely on Premium Large Format (PLF) screens, which feature expansive wall-to-wall screens.
