He also shared an old photo of the 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie wearing tan pants to suggest that the clothing he found might be similar to what she used to wear. Needless to say, the images quickly went viral on social media, where users began comparing the clothes in the photo with the items reportedly discovered near the home.

However, despite the online speculation, there is currently no confirmation that the pants or knee brace belong to Nancy Guthrie. No one from the authorities has verified the discovery or linked the items to the ongoing investigation. In fact, many internet users questioned whether the clothing would match the circumstances of her disappearance. According to the initial reports, investigators have established a specific timeline of events where they believe she was taken from her home during the night. Subsequently, netizens pointed out that if she had been abducted while sleeping, she would likely have been wearing nightclothes rather than daytime clothing.

On the other hand, some users questioned whether Nancy used a knee brace at all.
