Darts ace Luke Littler has made his return to Cheltenham Festival for the closing races, just days after he pocketed thousands of pounds for a bet
Luke Littler is back at Cheltenham Festival – a whole £2,500 richer. The darts ace, 19, is one of several famous faces enjoying the annual races for closing day.
Earlier this week, ‘The Nuke’ revealed he backed 9/1 winner King Rasko Grey in the Turners Novices’ Hurdle. Having placed £250 on the race, he managed to cash in a hefty £2,500 after King Rasko Grey pipped Act of Innocence across the finish line. As the horse finished in first place, an excited Littler hugged those around him as Pro Sports Advice (Robert Heneghan) leapt into the air.
It’s been a lucrative few days for the teenager who also collected £120,000 for his UK Open triumph on Sunday.
As Cheltenham festival draws to a close today, a whole host of stars have flocked to the racecourse. The likes of Littler, royals Zara Tindall MBE and Peter Phillips, Jeremy Clarkson, Lisa Hogan, Tommy Fury, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Harry Redknapp, Sandra Redknapp, Celebrity Traitors icon Celia Imrie, Jodie Kidd and Nick Knowles were all hoping to cash in a nice little prize under the spring sunshine.
