Cruz’s cheese and potato soup was topped with bacon bits, with the musician captioning his TikTok post: “wanna see the best cooking video ever ? don’t watch this then.” He assured fans that although his soup may look “gross”, it is “actually decent”.
Fans quickly jumped on the “passive aggressive” video, with many commenting on how they believed the video was a dig at Brooklyn, who has disowned his family. One wrote: “Cruz has just earned another fan, this is the level of pettiness we should all aspire to .. LMAO.”

Another added: “This is so passive aggressive. I love it!!” A third urged Cruz, 21, to go a step further, writing: “Cruz could you do a video of your photography as well please.”

Someone else appreciated the sibling shade-throwing, commenting: “Now this is the level of pettiness I can really appreciate.” Another fan jibed: “Ur definitely getting a cease and desist,” while one pondered: “I wonder which sibling got the banter gene.”
Referencing Brooklyn’s Cloud23 hot sauce brand, one TitTok user added: “You should make a spicy sauce to sell. That would go nicely with that.”
Not happy with seemingly trolling his brother, Cruz reposted his hilarious video on Instagram, which he ended with a nonchalant thumbs up. He then took the opportunity to tag family friend and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, writing: “@gordongram watch out!”
Cruz, who is currently touring with his band The Breakers, recently said he would like to make amends with his brother, who has not been on speaking terms with his family for over a year. Brooklyn, who turned 27 last week, has told his family he only wishes to communicate through lawyers.

It comes amid reports that Brooklyn was ‘disheartened’ that his parents had publicly wished him a happy birthday on social media – thereby breaking their communication agreement. The first to share a birthday tribute to their eldest, David shared sweet childhood photos of Brooklyn and tagged his wife Victoria, using his childhood nickname for his son, Buster, as he wrote “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x”.
Minutes later Victoria shared the same post and wrote: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much”, before uploading a photo of herself laughing with her son accompanied by a string of love hearts. An insider told ET that Brooklyn feels Victoria and David’s posts were the “exact type of performative public actions that Brooklyn has been trying to put an end to, to no avail.”
