Katie Price has issued a public plea for her son Harvey as she’s hoping to be put in touch with a private doctor who can help her with Harvey’s ongoing weight battle
Katie Price has issued a urgent plea to fans as she said she “can’t lose Harvey” in an emotional post.
The 47 year old former glamour model revealed earlier this week that her son Harvey, 23, is at risk of dying of a heart attack due to his weight. Harvey’s Prader-Willi Syndrome causes him to rapidly gain weight – as the condition causes him to have insatiable hunger and a slow metabolism.
After sharing her fears earlier this week, Katie has now taken to her Instagram stories to issue a public plea to help her son. She wrote on a post: “NHS ARE NOT HELPING IF THETES ANY PRIVATE DOCTORS WHO ANY ONE KNOW PLEASE DM I CANT LOSE HARVEY”. [sic]

The heartbreaking plea from the mum of five, who is also mum to Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny, comes after she discussed her fears over Harvey’s health upon her return to her podcast The Katie Price Show after a few weeks away.
“I’m not slagging the NHS off, but they know he’s in the obese category,” she said, adding, “When he sleeps, I worry because he’s snoring and wheezing, and then sometimes he holds his breath. He’s massive, Soph, he’s just getting bigger. He’ll end up dying of a heart attack.”
Speaking on The Katie Price Show podcast, the former model continued: “They’ve already told me years ago that if he don’t lose weight, he’s prone to a heart attack. I just feel so bad, I’m going to have to do something. I’m not going to inject him myself, that’s not medically right to do for him.”
“But something needs to be done; he’s just huge, so that’s that,” Katie added. Earlier this year, Katie revealed her plans to get Harvey – who smashed up his mum’s car earlier this week – into the gym as he weighed just under 30 stone.
The moment, which is captured on New Year’s Eve, shows Katie sitting on a bed while her son Harvey stands next to her. “What we’re gonna do this year is get very, very healthy so you can get on those rollercoasters for your birthday,” she tells Harvey, who replies with a request to go on the Grand National roller coaster in Blackpool. She then says: “Oh you wanna go on that one? That’s easier than America to get to. Well we can do that.”
Katie’s concern for Harvey comes after her family shared their own worries for the star after her whirlwind wedding to Dubai-based self titled ‘millionaire’ Lee Andrews. Since Katie’s shock announcement of their proposal and whirlwind wedding days later – which wasn’t attended by any of her family or friends – concern has been growing for the Pricey as outlandish claims Lee made online were debunked – including AI doctored photos of him with Kim Kardashian and Elon Musk and claims of links to the Prince’s Trust and the Labour Party, both of which have been exposed as untrue.
Meanwhile, the Mirror later revealed that weeks before his wedding to Katie, Lee was locked up in a Dubai prison begging fellow inmates for cash – despite his self-proclaimed millionaire status. Lee’s ex-fiancée Alana Percival also came forward revealing Lee had proposed to her in the exact same way he popped the question to Katie just a few weeks beforehand.
Despite the growing concern about Lee, Katie has doubled down on her romance with him as she continues to share gushing posts about him on her social media.
