It’s the beginning of the end of the unofficial “fifth slam” on the ATP calendar as the men’s semifinals get underway at the Indian Wells Open.

The semifinals begin with a match between world No. 2 Jannik Sinner and No. 4 Alexander Zverev. Sinner and Zverev have faced off in 10 matches, and while Zverev won four of them, Sinner has been more dominant with six wins.

The second semifinal will be a clash between two of last year’s semifinalists, Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev. In eight career meetings, Alcaraz has beat Medvedev six times.
