Tom Holland shared his vision for life after parenthood

Tom Holland sat down with Men’s Health in the past to discuss how his future personal life might look if he and Zendaya decide to start a family. In turn, the actor shared his honest views about how his priorities might change after having kids. He explained that raising children could lead him to step away from acting. In his words:

“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. Golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.”

Tom Holland admitted that after embracing parenthood, his focus could shift completely to his family life. Consequently, he joked that, in that case, fans might not see him in any films or OTT projects anymore. Although the actor gave the statement in a partly humorous tone, it quickly went viral. Some fans even interpreted the actor’s comments as a hint that his family could become his priority over his career in the future. 

Moreover, Tom Holland and Zendaya, both have often spoken about the challenges of maintaining a relationship in the intense spotlight. Since the beginning of their relationship, the couple has tried to keep their personal lives under wraps, even as they acknowledged their love. The Euphoria actress once told Elle that although she values privacy, she does not intend to completely hide her relationship from the world. According to her, loving someone is special and should be protected, yet one does not need to withdraw from living their life. Explaining her views, Zendaya said:

“I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”

What sparked the marriage rumours between Tom Holland and Zendaya? 

The wedding rumours between Tom Holland and Zendaya have been going viral since they announced their engagement. But it gained momentum when Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, made a surprising comment about her marriage during a red carpet interview at the 2026 SAG Awards. He jokingly suggested that the couple might already be married, and the suggestion quickly went viral. However, neither Tom Holland nor Zendaya has confirmed whether the claim is true. Hinting towards a marriage, Law stated:

“The wedding has already happened. You missed it. It’s very true!”

Tom Holland and Zendaya first met in 2016 while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tom played the popular role of ‘Peter Parker’ and Zendaya appeared as ‘MJ’. Much to the delight of fans, the duo’s on-screen chemistry quickly translated into real life, sparking dating rumours long before the relationship was confirmed. They continued to claim they were just friends for years, until photos surfaced of them sharing a kiss inside a car in LA in 2021. Since then, they have occasionally shared glimpses of their relationship and engagement while still keeping much of their personal life private.
