The award for Beauty Product of the Night goes to Charlotte Tilbury and her new concealer, which proved to be an A-list hit

The A-list were out in full force overnight for the 2026 Academy Awards, and while there were some winning looks from Kylie Jenner, Emma Stone, Zendaya and Jessie Buckley, one other less-than-expected star had the night of her life: Charlotte Tilbury’s new concealer.

Worn on the faces of Demi Moore, Kate Hudson, Sofia Vergara and Kris Jenner, it certainly was deserving of an award of its own for Best Supporting Skin Star. As you might expect, this is just any old concealer, either– it’s a skin filtering, wrinkle-reducing, sweat and transfer-proof skin essential that our own Beauty Editor claimed was “better than injectables”.

The Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer, currently on sale for £24.80 instead of £31, only launched in January, but it’s been the hit of awards season – and it’s easy to see why. Designed to deliver full coverage without the heaviness many concealers are known for, the lightweight formula promises up to 24 hours of creaseless wear, using what the brand calls an ‘elastic stretch’ texture that moves with the skin rather than settling into lines.

For anyone who has ever battled with under-eye creasing or concealers that cling to dry patches, it’s a clever concept: coverage that blurs and smooths while still looking natural (necessary if you’re being photographed as closely as The Oscars stars).

Like many of Charlotte’s complexion launches, the formula also leans heavily into skincare benefits. It’s infused with hyaluronic acid, squalane and the brand’s phytoyouth essence, designed to hydrate the skin and soften the appearance of fine lines while you wear it. The concealer is available in 34 shades, with a flexible diamond-shaped applicator intended to glide easily into corners around the eyes and nose, whether you prefer a light, barely-there touch-up or full glam coverage.

In her review, our Beauty Editor Laura says: “Because of the aforementioned tired eyes, I almost always use a concealer whenever I do my make-up, not just under my eyes but also around my nose to disguise redness. At the age of 37, however, I usually opt for a creamy, fairly sheer formula over a full coverage one to avoid it looking too matte and cakey, and settling into the fine lines around my eyes.

This Charlotte Tilbury concealer, however, has been a revelation. Wearing shade 3.5, I found that it expertly covers up my dark circles with minimal product needed, it blends out really easily, and doesn’t crease at all in the little lines around my eyes. I find that some heavy-duty concealers can actually be quite ageing as they can appear quite dry, but not this one – it really does give something resembling a ‘flawless’ effect, and expertly hides signs of tiredness.”
