The two-time MVP left the game in the third quarter.
Giannis Antetokounmpo indicated there is little reason for concern surrounding his latest injury scare after he fell awkwardly during the Milwaukee Bucks‘ win over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.
The Bucks prevailed 134-123, but Antetokounmpo left the contest in the third quarter having seemingly injured himself after a dunk.
He initially remained in the game, dunking again on the Bucks’ next possession, on which he was fouled. The Greek attempted a pair of free throws and then left the game to head to the locker room.
The Bucks improved to 28-39 as they attempt to find a way into the play-in tournament in the Eastern Conference, and can seemingly afford to have optimism that Antetokounmpo will not miss more time in a season heavily disrupted by injuries to the two-time NBA MVP.

Giannis gives positive update on injury
Antetokounmpo has missed 31 games so far this campaign, the most of his NBA career.
He has had two separate absences owing to problems with his right calf, while he missed Saturday’s defeat to the Atlanta Hawks with a sprainked ankle.
However, an extended spell on the sideline does not sound likely with this latest issue.
“My guess is he hyperextended his knee, but I’m guessing,” Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said.
Antetokounmpo totalled 31 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists in his 30 minutes on the court and revealed afterwards that he could have finished the game, but was advised not to do so by the Bucks’ medical staff.
“I’m just going to go back home, sleep, see how I feel tomorrow, try to lift some weights,” Antetokounmpo said.
“If I have a little bit of discomfort, then I’ll go from there. As of now, I’m not really bothered.”
Bucks can’t afford another Giannis absence
The Bucks will hope there is no lingering pain for Antetokounmpo, given the uphill climb they face to keep their season alive.
Milwaukee sit five and a half games back of the Charlotte Hornets, who occupy the last spot in the play-in tournament as the East’s 10th seed.
There are just 12 games of the regular season remaining, leaving the Bucks running out of time to erase that deficit.
The Bucks face a tough task in their next encounter, as they host the 41-27 Cleveland Cavaliers at Fiserv Forum on Tuesday.
