Marella Cruises reveals star-studded line-up for 30th birthday sailings including Pixie Lott and Lemar
Marella Cruises has unveiled a host of big-name performers for its 30th birthday celebrations. Music stars including Pixie Lott and Lemar are set to headline special sailings.
The cruise line, part of travel giant TUI, will mark the milestone across its fleet of five ships from May 1, with a series of seven-night themed cruises packed with live music, celebrity appearances and nostalgic 90s-inspired entertainment.
Brit nominated and singer-songwriter, Pixie Lott, will be onboard to “Turn It Up” onboard Marella Discovery. This sailing will also include a live Q&A session with one of Britain’s most beloved broadcasters, Michaela Strachan where she will be telling stories from her incredible 40 year career in TV; from wacky children’s shows to late night music programmes to filming wildlife around the world and in the UK. Michaela will also be providing a live Q&A session on Marella Voyager during its 30th sailing too.
Marella’s birthday celebrations span the fleet, with Marella Discovery 2 hosting singer and radio presenter Fleur East in Palma alongside a live Q&A with Olympic icon Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards; Marella Explorer also sailing from Palma will feature BoyzLife, Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden performing hits from Boyzone and Westlife, plus another Q&A with Edwards.
While Marella Voyager will see a headline performance from Strictly Come Dancing and Drag Race favourite La Voix; and in Limassol, Marella Discovery guests will tune in to a live Q&A with Anthea Turner as she reflects on her career across much‑loved British TV shows.
Meanwhile double Brit Award winner Lemar will perform on Marella Explorer 2, bringing his catalogue of seven UK Top 10 singles to the ship’s entertainment line-up.
The anniversary cruises will also include themed onboard events such as a Birthday Gala, “Party Like It’s 1996” nights, quayside celebrations, 90s trivia quizzes and classic television box sets from the decade.

Marella Cruises’ all-inclusive packages include tips and service charges as standard. Prices for the 30th Birthday sailing on Marella Discovery start from £1,056 per person. As of 1 June 2023, there are five ships in the Marella Cruises fleet, Marella Discovery, Marella Discovery 2, Marella Explorer, Marella Explorer 2 and the newest ship to the fleet, Marella Voyager.
