In a recent interview, Kristin Cabot revealed that there were possibilities of her crossing paths with Andrew that night as he was also there at the concert, and now, she feels that crossing paths would have been better than what the entire incident turned out to be.

In a recent interview with The Oprah Podcast, which will air on YouTube on March 17, 2026, Kristin Cabot said that the controversy upended her life. In the interview, the host Winfrey addressed the audience and said that she didn’t know, and she’s sure that no one has an idea about the fact that Kristin was already separated from her husband by then, and even her then-boss, Andy, also was seemingly, or as he said, that he was separated from his wife.

Speaking about the same, Kristin stated that when she was at the concert, her daughter texted her saying that Andrew Cabot was also there at the concert. The information made Kristin feel that it would be weird if she ran into her estranged husband, Andrew, but she thought they wouldn’t cross paths, given that the concert was attended by 55,000 people. She also added that possibly it would be better if she had run into Andrew, rather than what the incident turned out to be. She could be quoted as saying:
“I was walking into the concert and my daughter messaged me and said, ‘Oh it’s so great that you and Andrew are both at Coldplay.’ So she let me know that my estranged husband was also at the concert. And in my mind I thought, well that’s — is this going to be weird if he sees me with Andy [Byron]? Like … if I run into him. But then I was like, I’m in Gillette Stadium, there’s 55,000 people here, I’m probably not going to run into him. That would have been better at the end of the day if I’d just run into him.”

In the same interview, Kristin Cabot said that her ex-husband, Andrew Cabot, wouldn’t be fazed if he saw her and Andy Byron together, because he had an idea about how closely she worked with him and that they often hung out. She mentioned that her ex-husband knew how closely she worked with CEOs, and thus, it wouldn’t matter if he had even seen her with Andy Byron there.

Last year, PEOPLE reported that by the time the controversy broke out, Andrew and Kristin already were separated, and he was also at the concert with his own date. Speaking about it wouldn’t even matter to her estranged husband, Andrew if he would see her with Andy Byron, Kristin said:
“He [my ex] knows how closely Andy and I worked together, he knows we socialized — like got lunches and got drinks. It was fine. He knows the nature of my work and the way, the relationships — I’ve shared desks with the CEOs I’ve worked with. Like it’s just a very close relationship. And so it didn’t matter.”
It was last year when Kristin Cabot filed for divorce and told The New York Times that she believed that Byron was also splitting from his wife. She also revealed to The Times that she didn’t have any sexual relationship with Byron and they only kissed that night. To mention, after the Kiss Cam controversy, Kristin and Andy’s careers were also derailed, and they left Astronomer, wherein the latter was a CEO, and she was Chief People Officer.
