Awez Darbar’s Mom Gives Subtle Hint At Son’s Breakup With Nagma Mirajkar, ‘Badalte Hai Rishte…’

Popular influencers, Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar have been together for more than a decade. The couple rose to fame with their videos on TikTok. Recently, the pair received nationwide recognition for their stint on the fan-favourite show, Bigg Boss 19. On the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, both Nagma and Awez confirmed that they were all set to get married after Ramadan. Now, speculations are rife that they have broken up. Amid this, Awez’s mom, Farzana Shaikh, gave a subtle hint at their split.

There have been breakup rumours swirling on the internet involving Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar for some time now. On March 16, 2026, Awez turned a year older. He had a star-studded birthday celebration this year. However, it was his girlfriend, Nagma Mirajkar’s absence on his birthday that fuelled the breakup speculations. Now an inside video from Awez’s birthday has gone viral on social media.

In the now-viral video, Awez Darbar, his mom, Farzana, his sister, Anam and his fellow contestants from Bigg Boss 19 were featured. However, it was Awez and his mom’s dance movements to the song, Dulhe Ka Sehara stole the spotlight. The mom-son duo’s light hearted moment on the lyric, “Pal bhar mein kaise badalte hain rishte,” didn’t go well with the netizens.

Awez’s mom, Farzana’s reaction to the song’s lyrics seemed like a subtle hint at Awez and Nagma’s split. Soon after the video gained traction on social media, netizens flooded the comment section. Slamming Awez and his mom, Farzana’s reaction to the song, a user wrote, “I am sorry as a follower from day one, of course it’s obvious they have parted ways, but the way the girl is laughing is not cool. Awez’s hand gestures like a bride is gone, not cool. Awez fam’s dance and reaction are not cool, unfair to Nagma, especially in her absence. I felt bad, did not expect this !! Love for Nagma.” 

Another user commented, “He cheated on her, and then he was exposed by a contestant in Bigg Boss. Actually, Nagma deserves better. He is nothing.” A third user wrote, “Nagma always deserved better!” Another user penned, “Nagma does not need these clowns. Even his sister uses her for reels and likes. She is out there shining on her own.”

When Awez Darbar was inside Bigg Boss 19, cheating allegations were levelled against him. From his fellow contestants, Baseer Ali and Amaal Mallik, to Splitsvilla X5 ex-contestant, Shubhi Joshi, Awez was accused of cheating. Reacting to the viral claims, Awez’s girlfriend, Nagma, revealed that although they had ups and downs in their relationship, they share a close bond. Nagma also added that she never faced any betrayal. She was quoted as saying:

“We had our ups and downs, but I always stood by the truth. People can judge us, but our bond is strong. If there was any doubt, I want to clarify that I never faced any betrayal. We support each other through everything. I believe the public will be the best judge. We wanted to clear misunderstandings and show that our relationship is real and strong. We made sure the game was played fairly, avoiding unnecessary gossip or scheming. I was in a zone of comfort. Having Awez with me in the house, I got a little comfortable, which I wouldn’t have normally. We had our relationship challenges, but standing together helped us.”
